"City Conquest" Jung Yoo Mi, Waiting for Kim Hyun Joong?
Jung Yoo Mi became an official cup noodle girl.
The drama "City Conquest" recently revealed a still of Jung Yoo Mi holding a cup of instant noodles and waiting for someone. Without much details as to what the drama will be about, it added even more to the curiosity that has been building up.
With the debris of what looks like quite a bit of waiting, Jung Yoo Mi is sitting on a slab of rock quite freely. Her expression is quite serious and she seems slightly sad. Her willingness to sit outside to wait for someone this way seems to suggest something about the character storyline.
In "City Conquest" Jung Yoo Mi plays jewelry designer Lee Dan Bi who is destined to fall in love with Hallyu star Mir Baek (played by Kim Hyun Joong). She is an honest and innocent hopeless romantic and Jung Yoo Mi had already been the target of much jealousy from the female audiences.
Jung Yoo Mi is known for her portrayals in "Thousand Days Promise" and her upcoming appearance is highly anticipated.

Kim Hyun Joong's Jaksal Chicken Restaurant

The article series of artists' restaurants - Introducing Kim Hyun Joong's Jaksal Chicken Restaurant.

© Kim Hyun Joong
There's one thing not many K-Pop fans do and many might not know is possible to do unless you're really part of a fandom: visit an artist's restaurant. Many have started businesses around Seoul; often they are partners or their relative owns the restaurant. The most popular is probably JYJ Junsu's parents' pizza place Misarang, but there are definitely more. As an exchange student in Seoul at the moment, I will visit some of these restaurants, check out prices and describe the easiest way to get there.
The first restaurant to introduce is Jaksal Chicken. It is owned by SS501's Kim Hyun Joong and is located very close to Seokchon station on the pink line number 8. He actually owns another one, bigger and on the other end of Seoul in Ilsan, but today we will just start with Jaksal.
To go there, take the pink line number 8 and get off at Seokchon station. Depending on where you are in Seoul, it could take more than half an hour to get there. Also I would suggest going during the early afternoon and try to take the train back early, since Seoul's subways tend to be very crowded during the evening hours.
When you arrive at the station, follow the signs and go to exit number 7. From there, go straight until you get to the first side street. It's big so you won't miss it. Go straight again for around 50 meters and you'll see it on the left side on a corner to another side street.
You might be surprised to face a pretty small restaurant, one of those you see on Korea's streets a lot. There's a small tent outside with plastic chairs and tables, and inside, maybe enough space for 20 customers.
The menu is not huge, mostly variations of chicken, like garlic chicken, spicy chicken, etc. with a salad. But there is more to it as well; Ddokbokki is also on the menu as well as Budaejjigae. Prices go up to around 17,000 won, but the menu is made up of dishes fit for two, so you might want to make sure to go with a friend which makes it a) more fun to be there, b) cheaper and c) you'll probably finish the whole dish.
If you're not sure about what to order and are not fluent in Korean, one of the waiters working at the place speaks very good English and is quite nice, so don't hesitate to talk to him.
My friend and I decided to go with the Budaejjigae, which is basically a stew, with sausage, noodles, vegetables, fishcake, dumplings and a lot more in it. You get the hot pot on your table and finish cooking it there. It was 16,000 won and was actually pretty satisfying.
I must also say, I would not have expected it to be as delicious as it was, since I assume they will get customers anyway, because Kim Hyun Joong's name is attached to it and his face is plastered all over the place, but I have definitely tasted way worse budaejjigae since coming to Korea two months ago.
If you are not a fan but are around this area, it's a cheap place to get very good food with a nice atmosphere. And if you are a fan, then definitely go there. Most of the fans probably go to the bigger one in Ilsan, so this is a quiet place to enjoy the food and look around at the pictures of Kim Hyun Joong hanging there without being intrusive.

Won Bin Still Not Coming Back to the Small Screen after 13 Years.
I miss Won Bin in the small screen. Seen him in Autumn in my Heart with Song Seung Hun and Song Hye Kyo. Actually, the first Korean drama that made me cry and made me a certified Korean drama follower. The first time I watched a series that I also pity the guy who was not the lead character. His presence in that drama was so awesome , I remember how I felt his pain. Now...will still wait for that comeback.

Actor Won Bin‘s 13 year comeback to TV drama has been confirmed by multiple sources to have been void.
Won Bin was offered the leading role in the drama written by writer No Hee Kyung and to be directed by PD Kim Kyu Tae. It was reported that he was seriously considering starring in the drama and many were optimistic to see him make a comeback to TV. However, according to several insiders in the TV network, Won Bin has made the final decision to not star in the drama. An associate of the drama’s production team stated, “Won Bin has decided to not take the role. We’re currently talking to other Hallyu stars for the role.”
Won Bin had been searching for his next project for 2 years, since his last film ‘The Man Out of Nowhere’, which attracted more than 6 million moviegoers. If he had actually starred in the drama, he would have made a comeback to television after 13 years from his last TV drama ‘Autumn In My Heart’. Many predicted Won Bin to add another huge hit to his already impressive filmography and the possibility seemed even more likely since writer No Hee Kyung was writing the scripts. She is known in the industry as the ‘Magician of Words’.
An associate of the TV network spoke about the reason Won Bin decided against starring on the drama, “We don’t know the exact reason why. But the new drama’s female and male lead role share a similar importance in the storyline, I believe the mediation proved to be a little difficult”, and he cautiously elaborated on the situation.

cre: soompi.com
Lee Byung Heon and Lee Min Jung‘s wedding rumor surfaced but both parties denied the rumor. Recently, a rather detailed rumor about Lee Byung Heon and Lee Min Jung’s November wedding and the soon-to-be newlyweds preparation processes spread out. Since Lee Byung Heon and Lee Min Jung’s alleged relationship was reported back in April, the news about the two superstar’s wedding spread like wildfire among SNS users.
However, Lee Byung Heon’s agency quickly denied the rumor. They announced, “This is not true at all. Lee Byung Heon is busy in November, filming ‘Red 2.’ How could he be preparing for a wedding and when he is so busy with filming schedules?” Lee Min Jung and her representative also released a quick response to the wedding rumor. Lee Min Jung’s representative said, “She stopped by a Hanbok store for filming of ‘Big.’ There was a scene where she wears Hanbok in her imagination. She is not getting married.”
In April, a entertainment news article revealed that Lee Byung Heon and Lee Min Jung are reported to be a couple and Lee Min Jung had been invited to Lee Byung Heon’s house to be introduced to his family. Both parties denied such allegations immediately and stated that they only know each other as colleagues and are not a couple.
