Couple Hyun Bin and Song Hye Gyo host fan signing on same day

   The famous couple of actor Hyun Bin and actress Song Hye Gyo are both having fan signing events today. Hyun Bin’s event took place at 1PM  in a book cafe in Seoul, where he received a diamond-studded razor from CEO Kim Tae Young, owner of Phillips Electronics, estimated to be worth 30 million won.

Also, on a first-come-first-served basis, 50 fans were invited to a private fan signing which caused fans to line the streets starting the day before.

On the other hand, Song Hye Gyo held hers in Chungdamdong to celebrate the release of her first photo book, “Song Hye Gyo’s Moment”. She wore an outfit that reminded fans of spring, adding onto her beautiful look.

“Song Hye Gyo’s Moment” consists of photographs taken over the past five years in three continents and six countries including France, Italy, United States, and the Netherlands.

Choi Ji Woo to make a drama comeback with “Medical School”

Beloved Hallyu actress Choi Ji Woo will return to the entertainment industry after a 2-year hiatus through the upcoming drama, ‘Medical College‘.

‘Medical School’ will be a melodrama that illustrates a story behind the life of future doctors studying in medical school.

Other cast members have yet to be confirmed, however filming is scheduled to begin sometime in the first half of 2011.

Although actor Hyun Bin will be serving his military duties soon, it doesn’t look like he plans on taking it easy. Hyun Bin will be premiering two movies before his departure – a 1966 remake movie called “Late Autumn“, and a melodrama movie called “I Love You, I Love You Not“.

Female fans of all ages have been showing much love. Fans in their 20s stated, “After seeing Hyun Bin on ‘Secret Garden‘, I have become a huge fan” and “The movies will be released soon and I plan to watch both movies at the movie theatre.” Those in their 30s stated, “I don’t plan on choosing just one of the two movies. Also, with both movies going to the Berlin International Film Festival, they must both be somewhat well-made.”

“Late Autumn”, which is premiering on February 17th, is a remake of a famous 1966 Lee Man Heemovie which casts Hyun Bin alongside actress Tang Wei. Filmed in Seattle, the movie is about a serendipitous 3-day love affair between a female inmate on temporary leave and a young man on the run.

“I Love You, I Love You Not” premiers on March 3rd, and Hyun Bin co-stars alongside actress Im Soo Jung. This movie portrays a couple who is on the brink of divorce after five years of marriage. Im Soo Jung’s plays the role of the wife who falls for another man and initiates the divorce, while Hyun Bin plays the husband who is still carefully considerate to his wife – making his intentions unknown.

“Late Autumn” has received an official invitation to the forum section of the ’61st Berlin International Film Festival‘, while “I Love You, I Love You Not” has been invited to the competition section. Considering how the Berlin International Film Festival’s competition sector is a red-carpet event, both Hyun Bin and Im Soo Jung will have the honor of representing Asia by walking the red-carpet.

Korean actress Song Hye Kyo (Autumn in My Heart, Full House) and actor Song Chang Ui (Life is Beautiful) have been confirmed to be cast in upcoming movie entitled ‘Nobody Somebody’ which would allow them to work together with respected director Lee Jung Hyang of notable hit Korean movie ‘The Way Home’ eight years ago.

In the movie, Hye Kyo takes the role of a television producer who loses her fiancé after a hit and run car accident. The plot then tells about her psychological changes after the accident that allows her to experience conflicts. Meanwhile, Chang Ui appears as her fiancé’s friend.

‘Nobody Somebody’ is aiming to release in the second half of the year.
