Hyun Bin the 1st Asia Fan Meeting Tour in Bangkok.

Good looking actor Hyun Bin will hold a fan meeting at Royal Paragon Hall in Bangkok on April 11.

Hyun Bin has been one of the most popular Korean actors since he starred in the 2005 comedy series My Name is Kim Sam Soon, which was a huge hit on Thai TV.

Aside from comedy, Hyun Bin has showed off his impressive acting skills in dramas like The Snow Queen (2006) and World Within (2008).

In 2010, he played the arrogant character Kim Joo Won, who fell in love with a stunt woman in the romantic comedy, Secret Garden. The series was another massive success for the star.

Hyun Bin promises plenty of fun and surprises at his Thai fan meeting. Tickets are 1,000 to 5,000 baht. People who buy the first 200 tickets will also receive special T-shirts.

Hyun Bin Is Planning to Make Comeback Through Movie.

On February 18, a representative from Hyun Bin‘s agency said during a phone interview, “It’s not the right time to talk about his drama comeback. It currently looks like he’ll be making a comeback through a movie first.”

The person continued, “Currently, the agency is looking over various projects and the likelihood of taking on a movie project is very high. But nothing has been confirmed yet.”

It’s been revealed that Hyun Bin has received numerous drama and movie scripts since before his release from military service this past December. Since his movie “Late Autumn” fared well at the box office before his service, Hyun Bin has been receiving a lot of “love calls” from Chungmuro (South Korea’s Hollywood).

Now that it’s more likely he’s coming back through a movie, many industry insiders and the public are showing much interest with which movie project he’ll pick.

Hyun Bin to return to the public eye through coffee CF

Hyun Bin will be returning to the public eye through a coffee CF.

On January 10th, Lotte Chilsung Drinks stated, “We have recently signed on Hyun Bin as the new face of Cantata. After the drama ‘Secret Garden‘ ended and Hyun Bin voluntarily entered into the Marine Corps his popularity soared. We felt that he was our best model and we have been in frequent contact for quite some time.”

Cantata is a popular canned instant coffee line that comes in various flavors.

They added, “So far, Cantata has been signing the best actors such as So Ji Sub and Lee Min Howho are popular with the young demographic. Hyun Bin has finished his enlistment and has the image of a top male actor. Cantata will be writing a new ad story line with him.”

The coffee CFs featuring Hyun Bin will begin airing in February.

Hyun Bin, Jang Dong Gun, and Joo Jin Mo Get Together to Celebrate Hyun Bin’s Discharge

On December 9, Hyun Bin got together with friends Jang Dong Gun and Joo Jin Mo to celebrate his discharge from the military. The three actors shared a meal and drinks together for the first time in a while. A source says that Jang Dong Gun and Joo Jin Mo gave Hyun Bin many advices in both his future career and life. 

Hyun Bin, Jang Dong Gun, and Joo Jin Mo’s friendship is very well known inside and outside of the entertainment industry. The three actors play baseball together on celebrity baseball team, Play Boys. Even when Hyun Bin was still in the military, fans have spotted the three together whenever Hyun Bin was out for a vacation. Hyun Bin and Jang Dong Gun are especially close. In 2006, Hyun Bin signed an exclusive contract with AM Entertainment after Jang Dong Gun recommended it. Recently, Hyun Bin signed a new contract with O& Entertainment, 

a new agency that AM Entertainment’s agent Kim Ok Hyun established.

Hyun Bin was discharged from the Korean Marine Corps on December 6. He joined the Marine Corps in March 2011 and spent 21 months serving the country. On the day of discharge, Hyun Bin garnered much attention for his teary confession, “I missed acting so much.” He plans on taking a short break before returning as an actor. Sources say that Hyun Bin has received numerous scripts for movies and TV dramas. The advertising industry is also showing much interest in him.

Waiting for Hyun Bin's Comeback After Discharged from the Military

One of the good news this month is when Hyun Bin finally finished his service in the military. I thought it is going to be that long when I first heard of it last year, but then time is so fast, I almost did not noticed his absence in the K-entertainment, and now he is back!

Good thing there are so many great dramas and K-pop are interesting. But of course, Hyun Bin will always be in my top list of favorites. He made me cry in Secret Garden, his last drama before he entered the service and made me see him as a real actor.  Though I saw him in My Name is Kim Sam Soon, his presence in the drama did not really registered or lingered. But I already noticed how handsome he is. I only appreciate his acting skills when I watched World's Within. His chemistry with his former girlfriend Song Hye Kyo is awesome. And I fell in love with him in that drama and really hoped for them to end up as husband and wife. But of course, we all knew how it ended, just before he entered the military.

 Well, he is really a good actor. and now that he is back, I am still waiting for his lined up activities soon. I want to see him in a new project, especially in a drama in the small screens. Please. With Jang Dong Gun's comeback a few months ago with A Gentleman's Dignity which was successful, I am also waiting for Hyun Bin's comeback.

Hyun Bin’s Comeback Depends on How Fast His Hair Grows?

Is Hyun Bin’s next project going to be decided by the speed of his hair growth? According to reports in local news agencies, Hyun Bin, who was just discharged from his mandatory military service on December 6, is currently receiving offers for various projects, including movies, dramas and commercials but has yet to decide what he will be doing next.

Hyun Bin’s last drama before serving in active duty with the Marines was “Secret Garden,” which has become a hit. With films, and other appearances in commercials thereafter, Hyun Bin’s popularity was at an all-time high, and his comeback is much anticipated.

“Hyun Bin had to cut his hair when he was enlisted, and maintain that short cut throughout his service so he had to have a haircut again even during his last vacation,” local news agencies quoted his management as saying. “As a civilian, he will have to grow it longer for him to be able to appear in public again, in acting and various CF projects.”

Viewers and netizens who have caught on to this piece of news reacted with “You’re still cool with that hair, Hyun Bin. We’ve been waiting for your comeback,” “Your hair will grow faster, right?” and some such comments.

Meanwhile, reports say Hyun Bin’s next public appearance is likely to be a fan meeting since “Secret Garden” is scheduled to air in Japan.
