I Miss You Soon To Air on Philippine TV...

mslee is and will always be a KAPUSO network fan. So, this is really a surprise for me, that GMA failed to get the rights from MBC network to air I Miss You. I was really hoping it will be YEH's third drama in GMA 7, counting Coffee Prince and Lie To Me which are both a hit. Many Filipinos who do not really follow K-entertainers became a fan of Yoon Eun Hye. I am a fan since GOONG.

I was reading some post at soompi thread and Warriors and Neris [hardcore fans of YEH] are expressing their concerns about how little the other network who got the rights to air the drama is giving credit to YEH or if I were to put my own sentiments after watching the teaser, she was never acknowledged as the lead role in the drama. Her appearance in the teaser is absolutely none. I am not a warrior or neri, but I am a fan, if you care to look here in my blog. I have been blogging about YEH since I started this blog. I know her status as a K-actress. She is considered as one of the Hallyu actress in the field. So basically, she deserves to be given credit to an awesome drama, like I Miss You. It was her most awesome work to date. Her hard work in filming during those winter nights and her professionalism was evident. So is her leading actor Park Yoo Chun who also gave a very dramatic and convincing character as Han Jung Woo.

I Miss You will air soon. And even though I really don't watch local shows anymore, except for news via GMA 7 [hardcore kapuso] I guess I am going to take some time to peek at the other network, ABS-CBN just to support my OTP, ChunHye couple. Just echoing YEH fan's lament that hopefully, there will be a new teaser where we all can see YEH on screen because she is a part of the drama.

Anyway, will have to share the teaser here so that you can understand why I shared this thoughts here.

I Miss You, The Next Winter Sonata?

After the success of the drama I Miss You from MBC which ended this January 2013, it is now being shown in Japan, only one of the countries that has purchased the rights to air the drama. And reports are saying that it is very popular there.



Now I remember Winter Sonata which swept the country a decade ago and news is saying that I Miss You may become the next Winter Sonata. Wow, this is awesome news for the team behind I Miss You and of course the actors who gave the drama a great performance. Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yoo Chun will surely be loved more by the Japanese fans for their portrayal of Han Jung Woo and Lee Seo Yoon respectively. I watched Winter Sonata back then and tears rolled down my face at the love story of BYJ and CJW as Kang Joon Sang and Jong Yoo Jin. Then when I watched I Miss You, I also teared a lot at the fate of Han Jung Woo and Lee Seo Yoon.

 With a lot of k-dramas that had and has been aired in Japan, I Miss You is really fortunate to be named as the next Winter Sonata.

Japanese Officials Compare ′I Miss You′ to ′Winter Sonata′

I Miss You has just started airing in Japan, but already its popularity is being compared to the Winter Sonata boom that swept the country.

A drama official recently told enews, "Reactions are so explosive that some Japanese officials have been saying I Miss You may become the next Winter Sonata."

I Miss You is currently airing in the hallyu channel DATV, and will soon also start airing in a main channel. This is a surprising feat considering how Japan has been cutting down on Korean content on its main channels following the two countries′ political strifes.

Winter Sonata also initially aired on cable, and after gaining popularity, made it into the government-run broadcasting station NHK to cause a great boom across the country.

The official quoted a local official to have said that "if I Miss You starts airing on a main channel, it will go the way ofWinter Sonata."

"Park Yoo Chun is very popular in Japan, and Yoo Seung Ho has also been gaining popularity as the next generation hallyu star, while Yun Eun Hye is known through her role in Coffee Prince. Hallyu fans have especially been showing great interest," the official added.

"I Miss You has even been receiving love calls from America and Europe," the official said. "Park Yoo Chun′s popularity overseas is unimaginably great. We′re first preparing to go to America."

I Miss You is a romance that stars Park Yoo Chun, Yun Eun Hye and Yoo Seung Ho.

[CHUNHYE Couple] Analysis on LOVE and on Being In Love

Once again, my wandering mind is restless and led me to further analyse my OTP, ChunHye couple. This is purely my own explanation. As a shipper, I am entitled to spazz and make analysis just for fun.

I don't know the starting point when you realize that they look like they are not just mere actor and actress in a drama. But I'll say that my starting point would be episode 13. It was as if everything fall into places for both YC and EH after that kiss scene. The obvious attraction, shy smiles, making faces while the other laughs and showing formality in front of cameras during BTS  triggered the electricity between our OTP, thus resulting in that powerful scene in episode 13. [lost for words, can't exactly describe what I want to convey.  ]

[ChunHye] For Shippers Only : PYC Fashion Style Subtle Change

Oh, this is fun! The journey to more ChunHye fact discovery is becoming more and more interesting! Although nothing is confirmed, yet, but how small details such as scarf and now tie are being noticed by the shipper. I smiled while reading posts and seeing the small "evidences" that made me strongly believe that I am shipping the right pair.

After IMY, seldom are photos of my OTP. Last month, after the Thailand trip gifted by the Chunhye couple to staff and crew of IMY, YEH was said to be in France for a photoshoot. But no photos were taken @the airport which was for me as a follower a bit odd. I have always posted here her airport fashion and some were photos of herself she shared on line while waiting for her departure. Then she was then said to be in Hawaii just a couple weeks ago. Again, no one knew, except for the photo she shared via her Facebook, but not really clear where it was taken.

For now, these are the only update about YEH's whereabouts. Warriors and Neris said that probably she's back already. Not sure though.

Meanwhile, PYC on the other hand is also not spotted for the last weeks after IMY. Seemed that the guy is also "missing" which is odd according to Chunsas. Usually he would go to other places or out of the country to relax after a drama and shed off the remaining character he had lived the entire filming. But no, he stayed in Seoul, but did not even go to JJ's mini fan concert, just a video call with JJ teasing him about "dukbokiss",adding S to remind him perhaps of the cute kiss scene in IMY and telling him that his does not taste good! Ah, these boys! Made me smile and read between the lines!

Well, one of the hot topic of ChunHye shippers was the scarf worn by YC during the Premiere of Men's Mannual.



Chunsa said that this is not YC style of wearing a scarf. He likes them long and wrapped around just hanging.

There is news from Hunan Satellite TV officials that the “Lantern Festival Joy Party” will not only have CCTV famous TV host Sa Bei Ning 撒贝宁 joining as a host, but will also welcome popular Korean drama male and female leads, Park Yuchun and Yoon Eun Hye, in their first China show!
