It seems like Big Bang‘sT.O.P‘s acting career is definitely blooming as it has been reported that the idol is in discussion for a new drama!
T.O.P is said to be considering taking on a role in SBS‘s ’Jang Ok Jung Lives in Love‘ (temporary title) and possibly star alongside actress Kim Tae Hee, who has already been confirmed for the lead role.
YG Entertainment commented, “It is true that Big Bang’s T.O.P has been offered a role in ‘Jang Ok Jung’. He is currently positively reviewing the offer. However, as he is currently filming for his movie and also has to juggle Big Bang’s schedule, we are giving this much thought.”
“We cannot reveal the details, but T.O.P has been offered a role that is very crucial in the drama,” they added.
As ‘Jang Ok Jung Lives in Love’ is a drama of the historical genre, if T.O.P does confirm, this will be his first role in a historical genre project.
The drama is currently scheduled to air next March and will revolve around the story of a Joseon Dynasty fashion designer, Jang Ok Jung.
Big Bang moves forward and releases their new special edition album called, "Still Alive." Check out their edgy photo shoot for the album and their new music video for "Monster"here.
Big Bang‘s T.O.Pshared the qualities in a woman that turn him off.
On the April 20th episode of SBS ‘GO Show‘, the Big Bang members opened up about their dating styles.
Big Bang’s maknaeSeungri revealed that T.O.P never spoke informally to his girlfriends when dating in the past.
“I always speak formally. I think it’s good to create some space between us,” T.O.P explained. “I thought like that since I was young. I get to know them from a distance.”
“When you fight, you end up speaking informally when you want to curse,” he continued. “Speaking informally is the same as cursing when you speak formally on a regular basis.”
When asked which qualities he disliked in the opposite sex, T.O.P remarked, “I don’t like when they are impolite or unmannerly, and I don’t like when they use profanity in their speech.”
This has been my journey as a K-pop/K-drama/K-artists lover. Have been watching dramas since 2002, a decade ago and for sometime now, I have learned to love the songs and playing them and singing them everyday! ottoke! Once addicted, I can't seem to stop. I am not Korean, but definitely, I came to love the artists and their drama...so much.
Since starting this blog, my addiction increased, not only for Kim Hyun Joong, [who will always be my "all time favorite"] but to so many great singers and actors/actresses. Somehow, I have learned a few words although I do admit that I won't be able to translate a simple sentence easily. Some phrases, perhaps.
Recently, I keep on playing BIGBANG'S Bad Boy and Blue. I love both songs! Awesome! And of course, T.O.P. is just so good looking [in other words...hot! ] his mere presence across the screen is just great.
Prior to Bad Boy and Blue, it wasYou've Fallen For Me by Jung Yong Hwa [CN BLUE] which drained the batteries of my mobile phone. Love the melody and Yong Hwa's voice. Well...he is one cute guy!
Kinda looks like Hyun Joong...but they have their own appeal of course.
A few nights back, I started watching Protect the Boss. I have no idea who are the lead casts...besides Kim Jaejoong. Well, I know that he is a member of JYJ [which unfortunately had been related to a scandal recently regarding sasaeng fans and of course about the passing of the father of a fellow member Yoo Chun] and bestfriend of leader Kim Hyun Joong. Yes! Good looking buddies! With T.O.P. too.
Anyway, as I was watching the drama...errr, I think it is more of a comedy, because I kept on laughing the whole time, I also found how charismatic Jaejoong was. His eyes are very expressive. His smile is charming and addictive. To summarize, Jaejoong is another artists that captured my interest and make me want to stare at his beautiful face and be lost in thoughts while staring at him. Never mind the translations! Hahahaha! I could always play the parts I missed reading. He is just so handsome! Chongmal!!!
he sure can act!
got cute dimples...
expressive eyes...
Yah! I did put a lot of Jaejoong pics! [wink!] Well, he is a recent addition to my addiction.
Jaejoong I'll Protect You OST [ENG SUB]
And this page has to be updated regularly! Wow! mslee...you got to have strength! Although time is what I always look for to make this page updated, it's taxing yet fulfilling at the same time. Coz admittedly, I am addicted and can't seem to stop. This is my ultimate vice!
If I feel like singing and melancholy at the same time, it's Blue for me. But listening to Bad Boy brings out the groove within me. It's the rhythm. Definitely! And T.O.P's part is just great.
adding the lyrics to make us non Koreans understand what this nice song is conveying and at the same time sing along with the boys...

‘Big Bang Comeback Show’ to air this Friday!
cre: allkpop
VIPs, you are going to love this! We have just been notified by YG Entertainment that the ‘Big Bang Comeback Show’ will be airing on SBS this Friday at 6 p.m. KST, as well as being made available through other portals like the official YG blog, and YouTube channel.
Although we had all believed that SBS’ ‘Inkigayo’ would be the first program to air Big Bang’s comeback performance, it seems it will be preceded by ‘Big Bang Comeback Show’, which will be utilizing the footage from their highly successful ’2012 Big Bang Alive Tour’.
YG Entertainment stated, “‘Big Bang Comeback Show’ which utilizes footage from the concert will be aired not only through broadcast, but through other global means like MTV, Official YG blog, and YouTube channel, so that more music fans overseas will be able to view Big Bang’s comeback performance.”
Tickets to Big Bang’s concert every year are in very high demand, and many aren’t able to obtain a ticket for themselves. In addition, the concert DVD that is made for sale after the concert experiences strong sales as well. Thus, this decision to air the concert footage for free is a rather unconventional decision.
The agency also stated, “There is a limit to what can be shown through music programs that allow only one song to be showcased each week, especially since we have chosen all the tracks off Big Bang’s album as title tracks. Thus, while contemplating a more effective way to promote, we have chosen to include Big Bang’s interviews as well as Big Bang’s new track performances in their world tour concert through SBS’ ‘Big Bang Comeback Show’… Afterwards, Big Bang will be appearing on music shows like SBS’ ‘You & I’, and showcase multiple tracks.”
“We are also preparing special programs in various formats with Mnet, and we will open it up through all ways on the internet so that fans overseas will be able to view them as well,” they continued.
Although there are copyright issues that follow when such footage are released online, YG Entertainment will be taking the steps to ensure that such problems will not arise with various broadcast stations in order to promote Big Bang world wide, rather than only within Korea.
Through the airing of the ‘Big Bang Comeback Show’, ‘Running Man’, and their upcoming performance on ‘Inkigayo’, Big Bang will kick off their broadcast promotions.
