Actress Han Hyo Joo recently left her youthful, innocent and sweet image to the side and transformed to a beautiful woman in bloom.
On February 15, fashion magazine “Vogue Girl” recently released photos of Han Hyo Joo from their magazine cover photo shoot spread. For the photo shoot concept, Vogue Girl stated they aimed for the “Flower girl who blossoms from the rubble.”
In the photos, Han Hyo Joo is surrounded by blooming roses in the background to further enhance the metaphor of her “blossoming.” Han Hyo Joo also wore heavier make-up that gave her a sophisticated  look, which has been rarely seen in her previous work.
Han Hyo Joo also gave an interview at the set where she spoke candidly about her daily activities and the growing pains she experienced as an actress. Although the photo shoot lasted until early dawn, Han Hyo Joo maintained a professional attitude and never once showed a sign of fatigue.
Han Hyo Joo’s fashion cover photo shoot spread for “Vogue Girl” will be featured in its March issue.

Lee Byung-hun's first historical flick "Masquerade" has revealed more teaser photos before opening in domestic theaters this fall.

"Masquerade," in which Lee plays the 15th king of Joseon Dynasty, Gwanghae, revealed five still shots of the upcoming movie in a press release sent Thursday.

The forthcoming film, which tells the story of one of the most misfortunate figures in the Joseon Dynasty's history, is tentatively scheduled to meet with local moviegoers in late September, the officials said.

Jam-packed with veteran actors, Ryu Seung-ryeong of "All About My Wife" and actress Han Hyo-joo are each playing a courtier and the queen of the Joseon Dynasty in "Masquerade."

Based on the promoters' previous statements, Lee's film was originally titled "Gwanghae, the Man Who Became the King." However, the officials said they changed the title to emphasize the story of a lower-class guy becoming the king of the country.

Last month, Lee's Hollywood pic "G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra" was released in the country and has grossed 5,995,248,000 in Korean won (around 5.2 million U.S. dollars) at the domestic box office as of June 20, KOBIS' (Korea Box Office Information System) data showed.

[photos] Dong Yi aka Han Hyo Joo @ VIKI autograph session

Dong Yi is on my lists of  good historical k-drama. Even though it has so many episodes, I did not even once get bored. A good thing also that Han Hyo Joo played the character of Dong Yi, she is very beautiful and she fits the role.

Haven't posted any recent news or photos about Han Hyo Joo, but tonight I saw some at her thread @soompi and decide to share them here.
