CNBlue's Kang Min Hyuk Charms Viewers in "My Husband Got a Family"

CNBlue is now very visible on the entertainment scene since they released their third mini-album “Ear Fun”and promoting its title track, “Hey You.” Drummer Kang Min Hyuk, in particular, has been inching towards the spotlight for his current acting stint in the midst of band activities.

Kang Min Hyuk is part of the cast of the high-rating KBS weekend drama “My Husband Got a Family,” in which he plays the younger brother of series lead Kim Nam Joo. His character, Cha Sae Kwang is described as a charmer. With his appearance, height and charm, Kang Min Hyuk delivers on his role as a young man very knowledgeable in dating and women.

He first appeared on the drama’s seventh episode, aired on March 17. His character has become involved in a love line that adds fun to the drama.

The CNBlue drummer is noted for his tall frame, standing at 184 cm and gentle eyes, and is already known as a charismatic idol. With his latest appearance in a drama, viewers are looking forward to his success as an actor.

CNBLUE’s Yonghwa & John Park admit they are good-looking

CNBLUE‘s leader Jung Yonghwa and singer John Park admitted that they themselves think they’re good-looking.

On the April 2nd ‘Handsome Male’ special episode of KBS2‘s ‘Hello‘, John Park guest-featured along with CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa and Lee Jungshin.

The MCs asked Yonghwa, “You were invited on today’s ‘Handsome Male’ episode, do you yourself think you are good looking?”

The witty Yonghwa then hilariously answered, “I wholeheartedly acknowledge it,” nodding his head.

John Park who was asked the same question remarked, “Since you say so, that’s what I will think,” answering a little more cautiously, but still acknowledging his dapper charm.

Yonghwa also revealed his envy for fellow member Jungshin saying, “I seem to be getting shorter, but Jungshin keeps on growing.”

Their good looks & charm are definitely undeniable.

CNBLUE’s ‘EAR FUN’ #1 on weekly sales chart

Male rock band CNBLUE is ranked #1 on the weekly album sales chart on the first week of the band’s comeback.

According to Hanteo Chart, from March 26th through April 1sth, CNBLUE has sold 53,155 copies of their 3rd mini album ‘EAR FUN’, placing the band #1 on the weekly sales chart. The feat is even more special when you consider the timing of the band’s comeback and the big name idol groups they had to compete against.

From March 26th the day of their album release, CNBLUE has sold on average 13000+ albums per day, ranking #1 for nearly the entire week the group was on the chart.

Among the individual tracks ‘Hey You’ was most loved by the fans this week, followed by ‘In My Head’which is a song written and composed by Jung Yong Hwa, and a remake song of an internationally released song adds to the variety of the tracks on the album, upping the production quality.

CNBLUE plans to promote the album ‘EAR FUN’ for only a short one month. Members Kang Min Hyukand Lee Jong Hyun will continue to star in dramas. Kang Min Hyuk will continue to be on the MBC drama‘My Husband Got a Family’ as the cool character Cha Se Kwang and Lee Jong Hyun has recently been cast in the SBS drama ‘A Gentleman’s Dignity’.
