I am really behind updating Five Fingers. It's because I am waiting for the subs.
Anyway, to start off, the story is beginning to show the true color of Chae Young Rang. How vicious and cunning she could be just for her son In Ha. After hearing that Ji Ho reconciled with the Professor, she made a move to block the impending announcement in favor of Ji Ho. She needed this time to make Ji Ho appear greedy in Professor Ha's eyes.
Ji Ho was set up! He was supposed to meet the Professor in his office but In Ha was summoned by Young Rang to meet the Prof earlier. Ji Ho came and went inside the office to see scattered sheets and an open vault. Not thinking that something was out of the ordinary, he just put the papers inside the vault and that was the time a witness from the building saw him doing just that. He did not know that he was being taped via cctv.
The following day the music of the Professor was all over the media. Once again, Ji Ho was found guilty of malicious doings. He was accused but however he defended himself, the camera could not lie. He was the only one who went inside the office that time. From memory, he remembered bumping into another guy just outside the building and noticing the scattered papers and music notes. As a gifted person who can easily distinguish sounds he tried to remember the phone and the number being dialed by the delivery man who he thinks was the one who stole the notes.
In the meantime, Young Rang's step mom, Na Gye Hwa seems to be on Ji Ho's side.
Perhaps her character may seem greedy at times, but she possesses a very brilliant mind. She knows what she is doing and what must be done. Or maybe, she found Ji Ho very nice and not selfish that's why she is content with everything that she has been reaping out of YR's wealth.
Da Mi witnessed Ji Ho's humiliation. She felt sad for him. As for In Ha, he was not aware of YR's manipulations. Young Rang is a two faced character that is making Ji Ho's life hell. Dami's brother Woo Jin begged Keumdam Construction to hire him if they want to destroy Boosung Group. The President has not yet revealed his true name but I have a feeling that he is YR's JW. He is out for revenge!
Episode 7 ended with Ji Ho finally tracking the culprit. Was Young Rang behind it? The evidence is clear. But will he be once again manipulated into thinking that YR is doing all she can to win back Professor Ha's trust in favor of him...Ji Ho?
With a trusting heart...what will happen?
Episode 8
Chae Young Rang was ready. Prof Ha was there when Ji Ho opened the screen door. Young Rang made it look like she was begging for Ji Ho. Prof Ha was mad. He left. Ji Ho was confused. He saw a pair of yellow sneakers pushed back at the bottom of the doorstep before he entered but when he went out it was gone, Just like the bike outside.
He was puzzled. But YR was ahead of him. When Ji Ho cornered the man, he confessed that it was self plot by the Prof against him.
He was shocked and at the same time sorry for thinking less of YR. He apologized and promised not to hurt her again. YR was at her best in this episode. Her shrewdness was very strong. Ji ho was so trusting.
Just like her mother, In Ha lied to Da Mi not knowing Ji Ho. Both mother and son are doing their best to make Ji Ho disappear, but a child's memory will never fail and Da Mi knew who taught her the piano. Once again, In Ha was jealous of Ji Ho.
The incident regarding the professor's music notes being stole and out in the market was not over. A reporter was investigating it but Ji Ho refused to listen and got angry.
A witness surfaced after 14years. Lee Dong hee was at the door and saw how President Man Sae died. She unconsciously knocked the cake with candles off the table and onto the floor that caused the fire that night.
She went back to Korea. Will her presence makes a difference? Or will she continue to shut her mouth and let justice be buried permanently?
Five Fingers is a game on which Young Rang is the lead player. It was like she was playing chess, pushing obstacles and placing pawns in their right places.
Love to see how far she will go. And at the end of it all, I love to see her fall.
