Yoon Eun Hye Commended at MBC Drama Awards

Actress Yoon Eun Hye was recently commended with an award at the 2012 MBC Drama Awards.

On December  31, Yoon tweeted, “I was so distracted that I couldn’t express my gratitude to everyone. Director Lee Jae Dong, staff members of Missing You, writer Moon Hee Jung, Song Ok Sook, and other actors, and Jung Woo, who is working hard overnight, and Harry, who looks great without any lights.”

“And people from The House, who always take good care of me in God, thank you so much and I’m sorry. I feel so relieved with you and I love you.”

“Thank you Kang Soo Jung for doing my hair for nine years. You are more than my sister, you know that, right? Kang Yi Seul, Min Jin, and Byeong Hee, thank you for working hard to make me pretty. Hwa Hyun and Min Jung, who are here with me, thank you so much and you look so great.”

“I also want to thank the audience and reporters who supported me by writing good articles. Thank God for letting me do everything. I will become a better actress and will continue to work hard.”

Kim Soo Hyun Receives the Best Actor Award at “2012 MBC Acting Awards”

On December 29 at the “2012 MBC Acting Awards,” actor Kim Soo Hyun received the Best Actor Award in the mini-series category for his role in “The Moon that Embraces the Sun.”

Kim Soo Hyun, who also won the Popularity Award, stated, “I would like to say thank you and love you to my mom, dad, and my aunts. I would also like to thank actor Bae Yong Joon and everyone in our agency, as well as the drama crews.”

Kim Soo Hyun continued, “To be honest, I am scared of receiving such a big award. I feel like I have done very little this year, yet people around be keep praising me. There is such a big gap between what I have actually achieved and what others think I have done, and it scares me to death. I will always be humble and work hard.”

Kim Soo Hyun made his debut in 2007 in MBC’s “Kimchi Cheese Smile.” He also appeared in many dramas including“Jungle Fish,” “Will It Snow on Christmas,” “Giant,” and “Dream High.”

In 2012, Kim Soo Hyun’s popularity exploded with his appearance in “The Moon that Embraces the Sun,” which achieved incredible rating of 40%.  

Meanwhile, other nominees for this category also included Song Seung Hun, Lee Sun Gyun, Lee Seung Gi, andLee Joon Ki.

JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong Wins a Rookie Award and Shares: “Yoochun, Junsu, I Love You”

JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong shared his thoughts on receiving his second rookie award.

On December 30, he won the rookie award at “MBC 2012 Drama Awards” for his role in “Dr. Jin.” He shared his thoughts, “I’m really nervous. I’m really happy to receive a prize that you can only get once in a lifetime.”

He wrote on his twitter the following day a longer message without worrying about broadcasting time, “My second rookie award… I’ll take that as an encouragement to work harder in the future. I want to thank directors Hwan Hee and Oh Hyun Jong, Chang Joo Hyung (CEO), and to my members Yoochun and Junsu, I love you. And last, but not least, to the fans who made JYJ! I was show my thanks for the rest of my life.”

Song Hye Gyo’s Photo From Upcoming Drama “That Winter, the Wind Blows”

On December 29, an official of actress Song Hye Gyo’s agency posted a picture of the actress and wrote on Twitter, “Son Hye Gyo is attentively looking at the monitor with the director Kim Kyu Tae.”

Song Hye Gyo is currently busy filming the SBS drama “That Winter, the Wind Blows.” In the show, Song Hye Gyo plays Oh Young, the sole heiress to a giant conglomerate who has a visual impairment. Actor Jo In Sung plays alongside the actress and plays a high-class gambler and playboy who pretends to be Oh Young’s long-lost brother in order to get her riches.

At a previous interview on her upcoming drama, she said, “For this drama, I actually went to meet several visually handicapped people and talked and spent some time with them. I also studied on how they lived their daily lives.”

Even though the photo is not from a pictorial shoot, Song Hye Gyo looks picture-perfect. “That Winter, the Wind Blows” will start airing in February.
