IRIS 2..on 2011?

After watching the drama IRIS, it left a hanging question to me as a viewer. Who shot Kim Hyun Joon (played by Lee Byung Hun)...and does Choi Seung Hee(Kim Tae Hee) has anything to do with it? I played the last part of the drama several times, wanting to see where the shot came from, and it seemed that Hyun Joon was staring at Seung Hee's profile at the lighthouse while teardrops kept pouring on his face. As a viewer it left me with unanswered questions..was it an act of betrayal?

Now all will soon be answered in the upcoming sequel, IRIS 2 which will be aired October 2011 through KBS2TV and the filming will start March next year. Will Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae hee still be a part of the cast in IRIS 2, since they were a big reason why the drama had drawn so much attention from the viewers?

“Because it is a sequel, of course they will be cast for it.”

IRIS 2 will start the story around three years in the future after an incident of Hyun Joon (played by Lee Byung Hun) was shot by unidentified sniper. This sequel will once step further in the confrontation with the terrorist organization named IRIS. The questions are about the survival of Hyun Joon whether he is still alive or not, the mystery about the sniper identity, and also the people behind this terrorist organization, etc likely to be resolved in this sequel.
