Five Fingers Update Episode 6 - Recap + screen caps

I know this is a week late but I waited for the English subtitles, that's why. Komowo for all the hardwork of the subbers. Without them, I won't be able to understand a single dialogue. :))

Episode 6...the battle between In Ha and Ji Ho continues.

Ji Ho earned Professor Ha's irate and his decision not to join the concert. Ji Ho wanted to explain his part but Professor Ha did not gave him a chance. He replaced him with In Ha. The cause of all these misunderstanding was the music sheet found in the possession of Hong Da Mi which she performed in the restaurant she was working at. Professor Ha immediately recognized the composition and felt disappointed towards Ji Ho for his lack of care. As I said, this was a misunderstanding. Professor Ha have not yet known
the truth or the incident that happened between Ji Ho and Da Mi previously.

I felt Ji Ho's frustrations here. He was being ousted from the concert where he has been preparing for and to add insult and pain, In Ha was his replacement. His brother who see him as an enemy, as a rival. It's kind of a betrayal for him but being Ji Ho, he let the matter slide and just walked out never bothering to give his own explanation to the Professor.

Meanwhile, Young Rang saw an opportunity for In Ha. As a mother who has been waiting for this kind of opportunity, she knew that this particular concert would be in favor of In Ha. He needed to have the approval of the Professor and become his successor. Ji Ho's small mistake is a great advantage to them. They needed this to seize victory.

Looks like that friendship formed a long time ago would be shadowed by this misunderstanding. Not knowing Ji Ho's name from during their childhood days, Da Mi has no knowledge that Ji Ho was her friend. Both are treating each other like an enemy because of the switched bikes that made Ji Ho lost the music sheet. Frustration is clouding Ji Ho's sound mind that's why explanations from Da Mi could not pacify his anger and stop him from uttering hurtful words.

After the outburst of emotions, Ji Ho left Da Mi and this was where In Ha appeared and protected Da Mi. Guess he really liked her.

In Ha invited Da Mi for the concert. Da Mi and her brother Hong Woo Jin attended.

She realized then that the person she had a confrontation with was Yoo Ji Ho, the famous pianist.

While Woo Jin saw Chae Young Rang and remembered his vow to get even with her someday. A child's memory of his mother losing an unborn child is still in Woo Jin's mind.

Not caring for the Professor's decision, Ji Ho still went to the concert and planned to play the piano. He even invited the children who he has been teaching for free to watch the concert. They are enough reasons for him to continue, even though he would be playing with an injured wrist that came from falling off the bike.

Ha So Yoo, daughter of the Professor came and I think that she not only feels friendship towards Ji Ho but her feelings are more deep. As for Ji Ho, still not sure how he really feels for So Yoo.

In Ha played his piece with Professor Ha as his conductor.

But when Ji Ho came on stage, some of the musicians left, to his surprise. But still, it did not waver his determination. After all, the kids are there, rooting for him.

The sad part, although he tried his best, he could not endure the pain.

He lost. He walked out. And left the audience wondering and dismayed.

This incident is a small success for Young Rang. They now have a reason to oust Ji Ho from the board in the company. He put shame on the company's name. Of course, she looked concerned when they met at the house. And because Ji Ho was a trusting son to Young Rang, he decided to sell some of his stocks that she previously told him she needed. It was a gesture of total confidence and trust by a son, not realizing that he has been being made a fool of.

After the ruined concert, Ji Ho appealed to the Professor and he was given a chance to explain finally the reasons of their misunderstanding. And this somehow made him again the Professor's choice, if So Yoo's understanding of the situation is right. She told Young Rang that Ji Ho is favored by the Professor to be his next successor when he retire.

As for Da Mi, she was summoned to the Professor's office and had received the praise of the Professor.
Woo Jin is beginning his plans against Boosung Group of Companies.

A new character was introduced. A businessman who is eyeing Boosung Instrument/group. A new character to spice up more the story. Was he from Young Rang's past? Was he the owner of the cherished piano of Young Rang? These are my unanswered thoughts for now.

Will watch episode 7 and 8 next.:))
