SS501의 리더이자 차세대 한류스타 김현중이 긴 기다림 끝에 드디어 자신의 솔로앨범〈GOING DOWN〉을 가지고 2011년 6월7일 가요계에 컴백한다.
SS501 시절부터 호흡을 맞춰온 Steven Lee와 함께 직접 프로듀싱에 참여하며 자신이 하고픈 이야기를 노래에 담아 앨범을 완성했다.
타이틀곡〈제발(Please)〉은 아름다운 피아노 선율과 웅장한 오케스트라 편곡, 그리고 애절한 가사가 어우러진 슬픈 감성 팝 알앤비 곡이며,〈Break Down〉은 제작 초기부터 안무를 생각하며 만든 강렬한 퍼포먼스를 위한 곡으로 파워풀한 전자브라스와 신디사이저의 다이내믹한 사운드가 리드하는 강인한 남자로 성장한 김현중의 모습을 맘껏 표출하는 곡이다.
