alexandra potter is my current favorite author. her work is full of humour and wittiness with a bit of sarcasm on the side. i like the way she describe the guy or the hero in her novels..unlike what others do, hers is the most real...not a dream, not an illusion but the real ones that we ended in real life. he doesn't have to be sexy, tall, with six pack abs...in short, perfect. no..he's real as he can be.
i finished "me and mr.darcy" and i was laughing the whole time. it was a feel good novel, i can't help laughing even though i was alone, because of the witty remarks of the characters.
if you are looking for an ending with a dream guy, well, you will be disappointed. but it's not to say that you won't feel the romance, because it's there.
starting with another one.."calling romeo". read somewhere that it was not as good as the other books of A.P., but i am one of those who does not care for other opinions or reviews. i'l be the judge of whatever i am reading. it's like beauty, it's in the eyes of the beholder
